I have always been an early riser. So getting up and out to take some photos isn’t a hardship. Living close to a royal park which is also close to where I work provides an additional incentive. There are certain times in the year when the sun rises at a very civilised time thus allowing an hour to roam the park before I have to start work.
Checking the weather forecast the night before gives a clue as to possible photo opportunities the following day but it doesn’t dictate.
Everything seems so fresh and peaceful at this time of the day.
On a recent trip to Ludlow, getting up early proved worthwhile.
So it really is worth making the effort.
