According to my dictionary the word grey is defined as “intermediate between black and white..between light and dark, dull, clouded, depressing, dismal”
The last few definitions just about some up this time of year and how I feel. Spending a reasonable amount of time out in dull days can have a negative impact on my photographic mindset, and make it a challenge to even get the camera out.
Add some rain to the grey day…
and we have created an abstract image.
Add some mist to our grey day…
and we have created a mystery.
Add an object to our grey day….
and we start a story.
Now the grey day doesn’t seem so grey.
