In the last post I mentioned that flies have compound eyes. Further research revealed that the ‘lenses’ making up these eyes are independent of one another and are sensitive to brightness and colour .
This gave me an additional idea for a photo project that would stretch my editing skills. Suppose I took one image and then split it up into separate independent sections and applied different effects to them.
A couple of hours later and the above image was born. I don’t enjoy spending a lot of time editing my images, I would rather be out with the camera taking photos. But I have to admit I enjoyed this project and would do it again.
