The answers are……. Film A is Rollei Retro 400S and Film B is Fomapan 400. The bonus image was taken with Fomapan 400. If you got the correct answers then you can award yourself any imaginary prize you like.
In the first image the crane in the retro 400S is definitely sharper than the one in the Fomapan image. But then in the Fomapan image the clouds have more detail???
In the second image there is very little to differentiate between the two.
The grain in the films appear about the same to my eyes, something I was not expecting. I thought the Retro 400S would be a little smoother.
Clearly these are only first time impressions. I look forward to trying the films out in other situations and light conditions, as well as using both Olympus OM 10’s 🙂
